To continue with the long valuation, you must enter details in the other page tabs: Repairs, Aggregates, Special, Corrections. You can decide how much information to enter. You only need to enter information in one of these tabs to perform a long valuation but the more information you enter the more accurate the valuation will be. You can also enter information about the vehicle tires. You do this in the Vehicle Data page.
Notes:
- When you click Valuate, the system checks that the first registration date is no more than 12 months after the production end date of the vehicle. If it is more than 12 months after, the system will display the following error message: The first registration of the vehicle lies more than 12 months after the production end. To perform a valuation you must either edit the first registration date you entered or enter a base value. Please note that the system does not perform this check if you have already entered a base value.
- When you click Valuate, the system also checks the first registration date against the tariff date selected in the UST. If there is an inconsistency, the system will display the following error message: The selected tariff date doesn't fit with the First Registration date entered. You have the choice to cancel and either adjust the first registration date or the tariff date using UST. At the best you can try to force valuation. If you see this message, you have two choices, 1) Click Cancel and either change the first registration date or the tariff date and then perform the valuation again or 2) Click Force valuation to continue with the valuation.
- If you have already performed a vehicle valuation and have changed either the first registration date, Eurotax key or mileage, when you return to the Vehicle valuation page the system will display the following error message: The valuation input data has changed. You can choose whether to copy your changes to the Vehicle valuation page by clicking Update or ignore the changes and retain the current data by clicking Cancel. If you click Update, you should perform the valuation again.
