Auctioning a Total Loss Vehicle
Notes:

- You can perform a salvage relevance check to obtain a recommendation from the system as to whether a vehicle is a total loss. See Performing a Salvage Relevance Check.
When a vehicle is assessed as a total loss, you can send it to auction. You must complete the following tasks before doing so:
- Complete all mandatory fields.
- Identify the vehicle.
- Capture damage.
- Calculate repair costs.
- Attach images showing vehicle damage.
- Anonymise any images attached to the case - this involves hiding items such as the license plate in order protect owner identity.
Once you have completed these tasks, you can send the vehicle to auction.
