Searching for Current Offerings

You must define your search criteria by entering information about the vehicle. Some information, such as vehicle manufacturer is mandatory. mandatory arrow denotes mandatory information. Other information, such as the postcode is optional.

You may find that the system has prefilled several of the fields with the information you entered in other pages, such as the Vehicle Data page or the Vehicle Identification UST page. For example, if you entered the first registration date of the case vehicle when you created the case or in the Vehicle Data page, you will see that the system has filled the First Registration field in the VALUEpilot page for you. You might also find that that vehicle equipment in the Equipment section has been pre-selected; this information comes from the Universal Search Tree (UST).

Of course, you can edit any of the information as necessary. For example, you might choose to widen the search by deleting or de-selecting some equipment or removing the value from the Submodel field.

How you search for current offerings depends on the vehicle type. For all vehicle types, with the exception of light trucks, see All Vehicle Types. For light trucks, see Light Trucks.
