Notes:
- When you select a repairer from your address book, the system will fill the address fields for you. If rates and IDBCs have been fixed with the repairer, the system will also add these. You can these edit rates if necessary and change the unit used to calculate labour rates. You can also edit IDBC values and add new ones.
- Remember that you cannot select Per hour as the unit for labour rates and the Per WU for paint rates. The unit you select for labour rates is also used for paint rates.
- If rates and IDBCs have not been fixed, you will have to enter these manually. Click here for information about how to do this.
- If the time basis has already been fixed with the repairer, this will be selected for you. If this is not defined, the system will take the time basis from the vehicle model identified in the case. If you have not yet identified a vehicle, the system will use 10 as the default time basis. Both the source of the time basis and the time basis value itself are shown below the labour rate fields.
- If you change rates that have been fixed with the repairer, the system will prompt you to confirm that you wish to override fixed rates. You should also be aware that if you change rates, the result of the HUK rules check will be NOK.
- If displayed, click to view information about the ID Block Code.
- In some configurations, the Labour Rates page includes the TypeDAT Info button. Clicking this button displays information about the selection of labour rates and ID Block Codes.
