Performing a Correction Entry
A correction entry allows you to add a position that is present on the assessment vehicle but that does not exist in the data files for the vehicle model in OnePad. Once you have added the position, you can assign repair methods to it.
When performing a correction entry, you have the option of using a keyboard pad and calculator pad to enter values. Click to use the keyboard pad and to open the calculator pad. Click here for details.
To get started, click from the Toolbar. The Correction Entry dialog box displays.
Enter a Subtype
- Enter a subtype in the Subtype Code field. This must be valid for the assessment vehicle.
Enter ID Blocks Codes
- If necessary, enter any IDBCs that are valid for the position. Enter a code and value for a maximum of two IDBCs.
Enter Model Options
- Click
in the Model Options section to add model options.You can edit any model options in the list by clicking or delete a model option by clicking .
- In the Create New Model Option dialog box, enter the two-digit model option code. This must be valid for the assessment vehicle.
- Click:
- OK to add the model option and return to the Correction Entry dialog box.
- OK+ to keep the Create New Model Option dialog box open so that you can add a further model option.
Enter Standard Positions
- Click
in the Standard Positions section to add positions.You can edit any positions in the list by clicking or delete a position by clicking .
- In the Insert a Correction Standard Position dialog, enter the guide number for the position. This must be valid for the assessment vehicle.
- Select a repair method and enter any further information as required, including work units and mutations.
- Click OK to add the position.
