Overview of Image Editor
The system loads the image you have selected to edit into an image-editing tool, displayed in a new window. Important points:
- You can use the buttons positioned along the top of the window to rotate, resize, reposition, and zoom in and out of the image. Click here to view an explanation of each button. All of these functions are also available through the menu bar positioned along the top of the image-editing tool.

Select an area of an image to edit.

Draw an area to zoom.

Orient > Flip > Horizontal

Flip image horizontally.

Orient > Flip > Vertical

Flip image vertically.

Orient > Rotate > CCW > 90 deg

Rotate the image counter-clockwise 90 degrees.

Orient > Rotate > CW > 90 deg
|
Rotate the image clockwise 90 degrees.

- The image-editing tool also includes a status bar, positioned at the bottom of the window. This bar includes details of the file name, image resolution and current image magnification.
