Calculation Options

Option

Explanation

Spare part price date

Date from which spare part prices are valid.

Customer number

Customer number relating to the calculation.

Calculation title

Title of the calculation that is displayed in the printed calculation report.

Text code

If the calculation should contain long or short labour descriptions.

Manufacturer time print code

Which time base, Audatex or manufacturer, to use.

Glass calculation

If glass damage should be calculated separately and how.

Work unit price code

If labour prices or work units or both should be included in the calculation.

Calculation Country

Which country the calculation applies to.

Currency

Currency used in the calculation.

Language

Language used in the calculation.

Execute Short Valuation

If a short valuation should be performed with the calculation.

Repair system

The type of repair system to be used in the calculation.

Labour rates

If Labour Rates are to be considered in the calculation. If enabled, labour rates are included in the calculation.

Paint rates

If paint rates are to be considered in the calculation. If enabled, paint rates are included in the calculation.

Part prices

If part prices are to be considered in the calculation. If enabled, part prices are included in the calculation.

Salvage Relevance Check

If the system should compare repair costs to the VALUEpilot valuation and make a salvage recommendation.

Control page

Whether to include a control page in the calculation.

Print option code

The format of the calculation output (Labour, paint, spare parts or Spare parts, labour, paint).

Cover Sheet

Whether to include a cover sheet in the calculation.

Comment

Non-mandatory field for entering comments.

Number of lines per page

Value must be between 63 and 99.

VAT

Whether the calculation should include VAT.

Exchange rate date

Which date's exchange rate the system will use when calculating conversion between a local currency and Euro. By default, the system will select the current date. The system will also select the current date if no selection is made.

When you select a date from the calendar, the system will display the valid exchange rate for that date in read-only format.

Fictitious Settlement

Whether the calculation is part of a fictitious settlement.

Notes:

- Which calculation options you can see and select and the order of those options depends on the configuration of the system.

- Depending on the configuration of the system, calculation options will be preset with the values you selected for your last calculation.

- If Cash Settlements has been configured for your organisation and you select the Fictitious Settlement option, depending on the client selected in the New Case page, you will not be able to select the calculation performed using OEM parts when sending the case to a backoffice system.
