  1. Navigate to the Open list.
  2. Open the case by clicking view case in the Actions column.
  3. Click Depreciation from the menu bar.
  4. Click the tickbox for each formula you wish to select.
  5. Complete mandatory fields, marked mandatory arrow and enter further details as required in remaining fields.
    • If you have already calculated repair costs and entered administrative data, some of the page fields will be pre-filled. If so, review the details before proceeding with the calculation.
    • You can use either a period (.) or comma (,) as the decimal separator.
  6. Click Calculate to start the calculation.
    • The system calculates how much the vehicle value has depreciated since first registration and displays a value against each of the formulas you selected and a rounded up average.
    • Rounding depends on your configuration but is typically the nearest 15 or 25 (Euros or local currency)
  7. Select a value by either:

    - Accepting the value calculated by one of the formulas you selected by clicking the option button against the formula result.

    - Accepting the average value, calculated from all of the formulas you selected by clicking the Average Value option button.

    - Entering your own value by clicking the Assessor's Appraisal option button and entering a value.

Notes:

- Mandatory fields vary from formula to formula.

- If displayed, click information2 to view valid values for the data type.

- The depreciated value is for information purposes only and may help in the total loss decision. It does not affect the calculation of vehicle repair costs.
