How to Apply Repair Painting to a Vehicle Part

In this example, you are going to learn how to apply repair painting (paint methods LI or LI1) to a vehicle part. Paint methods LI or LI1 are used for paint surface damage, including sanding and the application of filling material.

1. Navigate to the desired vehicle zone for the part.
2. Select a part. In the example below, the left front wing has been selected.

   

3. From the Repair Panel, click repair method LI for up to 50% paint surface damage, or LI1 for more than 50% paint surface damage. Refer to Common Repair Methods for information on paint repair methods.
