Editing Model Option Descriptions

If you can see edit model option text, you can edit the descriptive text of model options. You can edit the descriptions of two model options for passenger cars and eight for caravans. There is no limit on the number of descriptions you can edit for model options you added manually. See Adding Custom Model Options.

Note: In the Calculation Preview tab and repair cost calculation, an asterisk * denotes any model option description you edited and any custom model options you created.

  1. If you are using the Tree view, click the model option you wish to edit from the right-hand pane.

    If you are using the Tab view, click the Selected tab and then the model option you wish to edit.

  2. Click edit model option text. The Edit Existing Model Option dialog box displays.
  3. Edit the descriptive text. Click keyboard to enter a description using the keyboard and calculator pads. See Using the Keyboard and Calculator Pads.

    ➀ The description must be no longer than 19 characters.

  4. Click:

    - OK to confirm the edit.

    - Cancel to return to the Model Options dialog box.
