Adding Extra Costs for Paint Preparation
If configured, you can add extra costs for additional AZT paint preparation, such as paint mixing or for degreasing and cleaning. When adding costs, you can decide whether to use the system stored value (work units and/or price) or you override it by inserting your own. If you do insert your own value, the system will mark the values with * in the calculation result.
- From the Toolbar, click
. The Model options dialog box displays. - Click AZT. The AZT Paint preparation dialog box displays.
➀ If you do not see the AZT button, it is most likely that you have not selected AZT as the paint system. To do this, click from the Toolbar, select AZT from the Paint Rate drop-down box and click Yes to confirm you wish to change the painting system. If you do this, the system will automatically select ID Block Code 51 and assign the default value of 100%. ➁ You can also change the paint system by clicking from the Toolbar, selecting ID Block Code 51 and assigning a value. Refer to Selecting and De-Selecting ID Block Codes for more information ID Block Codes.
Use the System Stored Value
- Select the tickbox for each preparation type you wish to add. The system stored value for the preparation type will be added to the calculation.
- Click:
- OK to confirm. Notice that the AZT button in the Model Options dialog box is now highlighted to show that extra costs have been added.
- Cancel to close the dialog box without adding extra costs.
Override System Stored Value
- Select the tickbox for each preparation type you wish to override.
- Click MOD.
- Enter the number of work units in the WU field and/or the amount in Euros for the additional work in the Amount field. You can use the calculator pad to enter this information.
- Click:
- OK to confirm. Notice that the AZT button in the Model Options dialog box is now highlighted to show that extra costs have been added.
- Cancel to close the dialog box without adding extra costs.
Notes:
- The option to add extra costs is only available if you have selected AZT as the paint system.
- You can also add extra costs by selecting the guide numbers 9958, 9959, 9960 in the AZT paint zone. However, you can only add extra costs once. You cannot add extra costs via these guide numbers and also via the AZT Paint Preparation dialog box.
- You cannot add extra costs for paint preparation when capturing damage for caravans.
- When entering the number of work units, the system restricts you to four digits, a single decimal place and one digit after. When entering an amount, the system restricts you to seven digits, a single decimal place and two digits after.
- The types of paint preparation available depends on the configuration of the system.
