Using the Address Book

  1. If not already open click address book to open your address book.
  2. Enter search terms in the fields provided.
  3. Click Search. If necessary, use the drop-down box to sort the results.
  4. To select a user or organisation click send case in the Action column or the link in the Id/Name column.

Notes:

- When entering search terms, you can use * in place of any part of the search term that you are unsure about. So, for example, if you are unsure of the last digits of a postcode, you could enter the digits you do know, for example 33 and then *. The system will search for any contacts with 33 as the first two digits in the postcode.

- To view information about a user or organisation click .

- You can hide the search fields in the address book by clicking search case. This gives you more room to view the actual list in the address book.

- If configured, you can select a specific user or contact within an organisation. Click select organisation contact against the organisation and then send case in the Action column against the desired user or contact.

- In a default configuration, the system displays the Group, Kind and Role filter. In your configuration, you might not be able to see one of more of these filters.

- The configuration of the system determines which search fields display.
