Customising Security Settings
The following information applies to Internet Explorer 9. You must restart your browser for any changes to take effect.
Enabling ActiveX Controls and Plugins
- In Internet Explorer, click Tools > Internet Options.
- Click the Security tab from the Internet Options dialog box.
- Click the Trusted sites zone.
- Click Custom Level.
- From ActiveX controls and plugins, enable:
- Run ActiveX control and plugins
- Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting
- Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting
- From Miscellaneous, enable Allow META REFRESH.
- Click OK.
- Click Yes to confirm that you wish to change the settings for the zone.
- Click OK.
Enabling Java Applets
- In Internet Explorer, click Tools and then Internet Options.
- Click the Security tab from the Internet Options dialog box.
- Click the Trusted sites zone.
- Click Custom Level.
- From Scripting, enable Scripting of Java applets.
- Click OK.
- Click Yes to confirm that you wish to change the settings for the zone.
- Click OK.
Working with HTTPS
- In Internet Explorer, click Tools > Internet Options.
- Click the Advanced tab from the Internet Options dialog box.
- From Security, select the Use SSL 3.0 tickbox.
- Click OK.
Customising the Pop-up Blocker
- In Internet Explorer, click Tools > Internet Options.
- Click the Privacy tab from the Internet Options dialog box.
- Click Settings. This option will be greyed out if the Pop-up Blocker is not enabled. If it is not enabled, you can skip the remainder of this section.
- Enter the address provided by Audatex in the Address of website to allow text field.
- Click Add.
- Click Close > OK.
