Customising Security Settings

The following information applies to Internet Explorer 9. You must restart your browser for any changes to take effect.

Enabling ActiveX Controls and Plugins

  1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools > Internet Options.
  2. Click the Security tab from the Internet Options dialog box.
  3. Click the Trusted sites zone.
  4. Click Custom Level.
  5. From ActiveX controls and plugins, enable:

    - Run ActiveX control and plugins

    - Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting

    - Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting

  6. From Miscellaneous, enable Allow META REFRESH.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Click Yes to confirm that you wish to change the settings for the zone.
  9. Click OK.

Enabling Java Applets

  1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools and then Internet Options.
  2. Click the Security tab from the Internet Options dialog box.
  3. Click the Trusted sites zone.
  4. Click Custom Level.
  5. From Scripting, enable Scripting of Java applets.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Yes to confirm that you wish to change the settings for the zone.
  8. Click OK.

Working with HTTPS

  1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools > Internet Options.
  2. Click the Advanced tab from the Internet Options dialog box.
  3. From Security, select the Use SSL 3.0 tickbox.
  4. Click OK.

Customising the Pop-up Blocker

  1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools > Internet Options.
  2. Click the Privacy tab from the Internet Options dialog box.
  3. Click Settings. This option will be greyed out if the Pop-up Blocker is not enabled. If it is not enabled, you can skip the remainder of this section.
  4. Enter the address provided by Audatex in the Address of website to allow text field.
  5. Click Add.
  6. Click Close > OK.
