Selecting Model Options

You can choose how OnePad displays sub-model and model options. Simply click either Tree view or Tab view from the top of the Model Options dialog box. The system will store your selection for all future damage capturing sessions. At any time, you can switch views. You can do this without losing any model option selections or any changes you made to model option descriptions.

To start selecting model options, click from the Toolbar.

Selecting Using the Tree View

  1. If necessary, change the sub-model by expanding the Sub-model category in the search tree and double-clicking a sub-model.

    If you haven't selected a vehicle sub-type, when you start OnePad, you will be prompted to select one.
    If you change the sub-model, the OnePad will display the following message Do you want to change the submodel code from (sub-model code) to (sub-model code). You must click Yes to confirm the sub-model change. Click Do not show this warning again if you do not want to see this message again.

  2. Make model option selections. You may need to expand a category in the search tree to do so. You do this by clicking . You can also collapse a category by clicking . Alternatively, you can expand and collapse all categories in the search tree by clicking expand all mos/collapse all mos.
  3. Double-click a model option to select it. The selected model option displays in the right-hand pane. You can use the buttons in this tab to create and edit model options.
  4. If the selection creates a conflict, the system will prompt you to confirm that you want to override previous selections.
  5. Click OK to save your selections and close the Model Options dialog box.

Note: denotes a currently selected model option. denotes a model option that conflicts with current selections.

Selecting Using the Tab View

When selecting model options using the tab view, you may need to scroll to the right to see all model option groups and you may need to scroll down to see all the model options in a group. In the tab view, option buttons are used for mutually exclusive model options, which the system displays in groups. Each group is separated with a space. You can only select one model option in a group. When you select a model option in a tab, the tab label colour changes to blue. This helps you determine which tabs contain previously selected model options.

  1. If necessary, make a sub-model selection by clicking the Sub-model tab and then the option button for the desired sub-model.
  2. Make model option selections by clicking the desired tab and then selecting the option button or tickbox for the desired model option. The system will display your selections in the Selected tab. In this tab you can edit the description of any selected model option.
  3. Click OK to save your selections and close the Model Options dialog box.

Notes:

- As model options have an influence on the calculation, you should at least select all the model options in the damaged area. For a 100% correct calculation, you should select all the model options for the vehicle.

- If you are unable to find a sub-model or model option, enter either the option code or a description in the Search field and click search. If OnePad locates the sub-model or model option, it will highlight it in the search tree.

- You can display the Model Options dialog box in full-screen mode by clicking mo dialog box - full screen. To restore the original dimensions of the dialog box, click mo dialog box - original size .
