Generating and Sending Test Reports
Generating a Test Report
- Click
from the Toolbar, or click the manufacturer/model/sub-model part of the status bar in the bottom left-hand corner of the browser window. - Click Feedback/Test Report...
- Click Show test report. The system generates the report and saves it to the file location shown in the Status section. The system also opens a new browser window and displays the report contents.
Sending a Test Report
Audatex may ask you to provide system information to resolve a technical problem.
- In the About OnePad dialog box, click Feedback/Test Report...
- Click Show test report. The system generates the report and saves it to the file location shown in the Status section.
- Insert a valid email address in the Sender field. Audatex may use this address for further communication relating to the technical problem.
- Enter a brief reason for sending system information in the Subject field.
- Click Attach test report.
- If you wish to enter a comment, perhaps to provide more information about the problem, you can do so in the Message field.
- Click Send. The system will now open the default email application on your machine and create a new message. If necessary amend the text in the Subject field of the email.
- You must now manually attach the report. Please refer to the help documentation of the email application you are using for instructions relating to attaching files to emails.
Notes:
- By default, the system will save reports to your temporary directory. This may be different in your configuration. You can view the file location for generated reports in the Status section of the Create Report dialog box.
- In some configurations, when you click the Manufacturer Information dialog box displays. To view the About OnePad dialog box, you must click Show About Dialog...
